Publisher Discovery

Tell us about your house.

This form takes about twenty minutes. Your answers become the foundation for your Publisher Voice Profile. There are no wrong answers, only honest ones.

Section 1

Who you are

Section 2

Your links

These let us study your catalog and voice before we ask another question. The more you give us, the less paperwork you do later.

Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, podcast — whatever you have.
Press coverage, interviews, podcast appearances, newsletter archive.
Section 3

Your mission

Formal mission statement, or your own words. Two to three sentences is plenty.
Be specific about what you acquire and why.
The honest version. What do you do that others in your lane do not?
Section 4

Your faith or mission context

For example, "social justice" vs. "Catholic Social Teaching" — terms that do not fit your tradition or audience.
Section 5

Your voice — the most important part

Your copy samples tell us more than any description ever could. Paste at least three you are proud of, and one you wish you could redo.

Section 6

Your audiences and channels

Not the buyer — the reader. Age, context, what they are looking for.
Curriculum directors, parish formation leaders, parents, gift buyers, librarians.
Diocesan offices, school networks, library systems, conference circuits.
Section 7

Your goals

New title launch? Backlist stagnation? Convention? Be honest.
Book launch date, convention, catalog deadline, school adoption cycle.
Section 8

Files and final thoughts

Catalog, sell sheets, author bios, newsletters, style guide, logo files. Share a folder link so we can pull what we need.
